CELEBRATES MISSION SUMMER

Sparked by an urgent sense of God’s vision, Fifth Christian Church has emerged from what its senior pastor is calling “Mission Summer,” a season during which the congregation engaged in ministries of enrichment, nutrition, and equipping of neighborhood children and youth.

From June 21 to August 12, Fifth Christian Church conducted its first ever summer enrichment ministry. Through its “Each One, Reach One” ministry, rooted in a thorough exploration of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, members and friends of the church led classes designed to build Christian character in elementary-aged children while enhancing their math and reading skills. God’s vision for Fifth Christian Church’s future includes expansion of ministries that address issues and needs of individuals and families Fifth Christian Church’s wider community and congregation, and the expansion of the buildings and grounds with specific emphasis on enhanced space for community ministries, education, recreation and worship.
